Treating pain has always been a special challenge, but that is especially true for people that have been touched by opiate addiction. With pain management being measured for determining reimbursement, it is becoming more important than ever to understand how this issue can be addressed. Join us to learn more about what opiate addiction really is and how it affects the brain, become familiar with the approved federal guidelines outlining proper pain management for those dealing with opiate addiction and chronic or acute pain, and discover alternative treatments for pain management without the use of pharmaceuticals.
